When you look at all the Glock pistols you will see that they hardly look any different on the outside. The inside of the Glock firearms is pretty much the same also. This is the case with the Glock 19. The Glock 19 is a 9mm pistol and one of the few Glock generation 4 pistols. As we have discussed in our Glock Gen 4 review, the new Glock 19 pistol has some add on features such as adjustable back straps, new coil design, and a new rough texture frame to name a few of the new features.

So what is the Glock 19? Well as Best Police Guns stated in the above paragraph the Glock 19 is a 9mm pistol. It is one of the many Glock 9mm guns that is manufactured but it is the only compact one of the group. The Glock 17 is the standard size, the Glock 26 is subcompact, and the Glock 34 is the competition version. A lot of police officers will carry the Glock 19 as their duty weapon. Rear Sight- There are four different types of Glock rear sights that will fit on your Glock 19. Those are the standard polymer sights, adjustable rear sights, night sights, and steel sights. The rear sights for the Glock 19 come in four heights; 6.1 mm, 6.5 mm, 6.9 mm, and 7.3 mm. The standard rear sight for the Glock 19 is 6.1 mm.

Front Sight- The Glock 19 can accommodate the Glock polymer front sight, steel front sight, and night sight. The polymer sight is the standard front sight for the Glock 19.

Slide Stop Lever- If you are looking for a more comfortable thumb rest order the extended slide stop lever for your Glock 19. This is great for left handers.

Connector- The Glock 19 has three trigger pull options; 4.5 lb, 5.5 lb, and 8.0 lb. The 5.5 lb trigger pull is stock on the Glock 19.

Magazine Catch- With three choices to choose from for your Glock 19 magazine catch you are sure to find the best one for you. There is the standard, extended, and oval magazine catch.

Trigger Spring- In addition to the standard trigger spring, you can get the NY1 and NY2 for your Glock 19. The NY springs produce more of a revolver feel for people switching to a Glock pistol for the first time.
