Sig Sauer P229 Platinum Elite- Perhaps one of the nicest looking police guns, the Sig Sauer P229 Platinum features a new beavertail grip, front cocking serrations, front strap checkering and custom aluminum grips. The Platinum P229 has the same basic features of the P229 Elite with the exception the P229 Platinum has the custom aluminum grips and a stainless slide.  The Sig Sauer P229 Platinum Elite costs $1199.99.  The Sig Sauer P229 Platinum Elite is not CA compliant.

Sig Sauer P229 Elite Dark- The newest version of the P229 Elite, the Sig Sauer P229 Elite Dark is an all black P229. It has all the standard P229 Elite features with the option of having a threaded 9mm barrel and a .357 SIG caliber.  The Sig Sauer P229 Elite Dark costs $1049.99.  The Sig Sauer P229 Elite Dark is not CA compliant.
